You Be You

One of the best things about being an artist, is the ability to express myself through my style.

I teach watercolor classes at our community College and I am constantly encouraging students to find and develop their own unique style. And to be apologetic about that style. Really embrace it. can you imagine if we all painted like Vincent van Gogh?? (As if!)

Every week, I send them an "inspo" pic to work on between classes. Last week I sent a beautiful photo of flowers in a vase, in the morning light. I was so excited to see how different they all were. And, how I knew which student painted which one!

In ART we celebrate our individuality. And we grow and nurture our uniqueness every time we create something. WE are all "One-Offs" and our Art should look and feel like us!

So.... You go deep and find your Inner Artist. Then paint or make whatever YOU want!

We need YOU and your ART!
